First Utility wins 2017 Customer Service of the Year award for utilities
We’re immensely pleased to have been award the Customer Service of the Year award for utilities - a prestigious award based on hundreds of mystery shopping experiences of over a one month period. Running for 10 years in France and three in the UK, the Customer Service of the Year award recognises great customer service in a range of different categories. This is the first year that a utility company has been recognised.
Our mission is to champion on behalf of consumers by offering lower prices, a more engaging experience through better service and provide insights and control to help them reduce energy waste. We scored very highly in all of the Customer Service of the Year testing areas, including telephone, online and social media interactions with the professionalism and knowledge of our agents called out as particular highlights. Our UK-based contact centre and innovative online services such as Facebook Messenger and Live Chat contributed to the award winning score.
