Why doesn’t the information in My Energy match my bill?
Your bills are produced at a different time every month depending on when you switched over to us and they sometimes show a different period to a calendar month. However, My Energy displays your usage for a calendar month, so the information may not always match up.
The predicted usage tool uses the information you’ve given us about your home, along with averages for other homes in your area. The tool learns about your usage so it gets more and more accurate as time goes on. Bear in mind, this will be less accurate if your usage differs from average usage habits or if you don't submit meter readings. Don’t worry, we don’t use My Energy information to calculate your bills. For more information about how we calculate your bill, click here.
