Refer a friend reward

By introducing your friends to us, not only will you be helping to lower their energy bills, but you can now earn rewards. For each friend or family member that switches to us direct, we’ll give you both a reward. To start referring friends and family, and to find out about our latest offer, click here.

About our Refer a friend scheme

When your friends switch their energy to us via the unique Refer a friend link, we'll say thank you by giving you both a reward.

It’s easy to do, just hop onto our online form to register for the scheme. You’ll be given a unique URL, which you can share with your friends. Your friends will need to use this link when signing up to us in order for you both to receive your reward. Alternatively, you can give us your friend's details and add a referral message. Your friend will then be sent the link via email.

The reward will be sent by email to both you and your friend within 30 days of their successful switch.

The good news is you can share your unique referral URL however you like, and with as many people as you like. You can also send a referral using system-generated emails to up to five friends at a time.

I haven’t received my reward

If it’s been 30 days and you still haven’t received your reward, this may be due to the way your friend signed up. If your friend didn’t make their application using the ‘Refer a friend’ link in the email, you won’t be entitled to the reward. If your friend did use the link in the email, but you still haven’t received your vouchers after 30 days of signing up, email us at customer.service@first-utility.com
