How can we help?

My home has been flooded

We know this must be a very difficult time for you, so here’s some information to help you sort it out:

  • If there has been a power cut in your area, call 105 for emergency support.
  • If yours is the only property affected or your damaged meter is affecting your supply, call our emergency team on 01926 320 700 (select option nine). Outside of 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday, our metering partner Siemens will answer your call.
  • Make sure you take a meter reading before and after restoration work to your home, as your insurance company will usually cover the cost of drying out your home (check your policy). They can use these readings to calculate the cost of the claim.

You should consider changing to a fixed Direct Debit if you’re not already on one. This way you’ll avoid any spikes in monthly payments caused by drying equipment in your home.
