At First Utility we offer great deals that are designed to help bring cheaper gas and electricity to UK households. Our energy prices are highly competitive in comparison with the big household energy suppliers, and because we are smaller than the others we can be more flexible with the energy prices we set. When the wholesale energy prices drop we can then pass this price reduction on to our customers much quicker than many of the larger suppliers meaning cheaper gas and lower costing electricity for you.
We are the only UK gas and electricity supplier to offer customers on our smart tariff a free energy monitoring smart meter. Currently available in the East and West Midlands, our smart tariff combines cheaper gas along with cheaper electricity with our award winning smart meters, offering consumers complete visibility of their home energy usage. Smart meters automatically send a meter reading to our head office every half hour for electricity and daily for gas. This information can then be viewed by the customer via their personal online account, allowing them to see when they use the most energy, and this enables them to identify where they can make savings and in turn reduce their bills. After all, the cheapest energy in your home is the energy that you haven’t used!
If we don’t currently offer our smart tariff in your region you could still enjoy cheaper gas by signing up to our iSave tariff. With our iSave tariff you can submit monthly meter readings and we’ll use these to send you an accurate monthly bill
