Google PowerMeter is now available to first:utility customers who have a smart meter installed. Just log in to your online account and follow the link to Google PowerMeter in the menu. first:utility is the first UK energy supplier to partner with Google and bring Google PowerMeter to the UK.
What is Google PowerMeter?
Google PowerMeter is a free electricity monitoring tool that displays detailed information about your electricity usage on your personalised iGoogle homepage. Google PowerMeter receives data directly from your first:utility smart meter, giving you access to near-real-time information about how much electricity your home is consuming. Google PowerMeter can be accessed from any Internet-enabled device, giving you the freedom to view your energy consumption at your convenience.
How can I get Google PowerMeter?
Google PowerMeter is now available to first:utility customers who have smart meters installed. To sign up for Google PowerMeter, simply follow the Google PowerMeter link in the menu of your first:utility online account. Access your online account here
Please note: Google PowerMeter is currently only available to our first:utility customers who have a smart meter installed. For our customers on the iSave tariff, we will be rolling out smart metering region by region throughout 2010 and will keep you informed when it becomes available.
