Statement - October 2011

After a lot of thought and consideration, we have made the decision to focus the business away from the new build market moving forward.

Regrettably, this means we will no longer be accepting new nominations for energy supply to your new build developments.

Where we have existing sites nominated to us, we have written to our customers to explain our decision together with the options available to them.

We are unfortunately being forced into the situation of needing to increase the standing charges where meters are installed, to fall more in line with the costs that we face in respect of network and wholesale charges. 

We are sorry that we are forced to take this action, as we can no longer absorb these charges.

We will endeavour to assist all our developer partners to the best of our ability moving forward, including helping them to switch their current portfolio to a different supplier if this is what they wish to do.
 

Existing customers

If you have sold any properties that are now occupied, please notifiy us of the change in tenancy details as quickly as possible by filling in a Change of Ownership form and emailing it to handovers@first-utility.com
