What can I do in My Account?

When you switch to First Utility, you can view and manage your energy usage using your online account.

Once you become a customer, we'll email you with your log in details. Here's a quick look at what you can do with your account:

Submit a meter reading - make your bills more accurate.
You can submit your meter reading using your online account. Doing this helps us make your bill as close to accurate as it can be (without a smart meter).

Your online account stores all of your previous readings, so you can keep track of your energy usage.

Keep track of your bills
One of the most useful things about your online account is that you can access all your bills. They’re stored online, so you don't have to worry about printing them off and having lots of paperwork. There’s also a useful breakdown of how much you’ve paid for your energy each month.

Manage your Direct Debit arrangements
You can make changes to your Direct Debit arrangements through your online account. Switch from a fixed to a variable Direct Debit.

Just remember that you can only make one online change every three months. Also, you can’t currently switch back to a fixed Direct Debit online.

Make a card payment
If you have an outstanding balance on your account, you can use a card payment to settle it through your online account. Read further details in our website’s Help & Advice section.
