How do I submit a meter reading?

We know that the last thing you want to do is pay for energy that you haven’t used.

This is why it’s really important to make sure that you submit regular, accurate meter reads to First Utility – it helps ensure that you’re only billed for the energy you’ve used.

The easiest way to make sure that your bill is as accurate as possible, if you haven't got a smart meter, is to submit your meter readings through your online account. It only takes a couple of minutes and saves you the hassle of waiting on hold to submit them on the phone!

Simply log in to your online account and click on the ‘submit reads’ tab at the top of the page. You’ll be taken to a page where you can submit your reads. And while you’re there, you can check previous reads, your payment history and even access copies of your previous bills.
