Along with a free smart meter, we also provide customers with a First Utility online account where you can view your business's electricity consumption and monthly bills, at your convenience. You will have access to view your monthly, weekly, daily and even half-hourly electricity consumption across multiple locations, showing you how many kilo watt hours (kWh) of energy your business is using.

 

This visibility of your current and historical electricity usage will help you control your consumption, allowing you to implement and track changes within your businss to reduce utility costs and help the environment.

 

Data available via your online account can be exported to be included in reports or presentations.

 

For businesses with multiple locations you will be able to see information on all locations in one central place, enabling you to compare usage and identify where savings can be made.

Can I request an additional log-in for my online account?

Yes, you can have multiple log-ins so that selected people can have access to your account.

How do I get visibility of my business's energy patterns?

Once your business's smart meter(s) are installed and are communicating, the energy data for your business will be available on a day +1 basis, meaning you will be able to see the energy used yesterday in half hourly chunks. This data is available from your own secure online account on our portal, accessed via our website. The data provided is useful for comparing sites and will provide you with the confidence to implement changes within your business that will reduce the costs of your energy.
