first:utility is a CarbonNeutral® Company. For every 1Kg of unavoidable CO2 produced by our business, we have invested in a verified carbon offset project around the world that reduces the equivalent amount of CO2.
We are in line with the CarbonNeutral protocol which states that we have to reduce our CO2 emissions to net zero. We have achieved this through an offset project and by reducing our CO2 emissions.
Together with the CarbonNeutral Company we are working hard to be a greener business. This also means offering you a green tariff and providing more energy efficient products.

Smart Metering

By investing in smart metering with Automated Meter Reading (AMR) Technology for all our business and residential customers, we provide the benefits of consistently accurate and timely billing, on-line half hourly consumption values, historical customer profiles (daily and monthly) and alternative tariffs not available from the traditional incumbent suppliers.

Energy Efficiency

Climate Change is an important issue that more and more customers, both commercial and residential, are becoming aware of.
